- 500 grams ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion peeled and finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups neutral oil canola or vegetable, for frying
In a bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Mix gently until everything is well combined.
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball using your hands. Set it aside.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until golden brown and fully cooked. Work in batches and transfer them to a paper towel–lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serve them hot on their own, with rice, or in a warm, comforting soup. Enjoy with a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping.
- To store leftovers, place them in a container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
- You can also add vegetables like carrots and bell peppers, just make sure to chop them finely.
