Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese block-style
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ube extract more if needed

Instructions
 

  • Beat cream cheese and butter using electric mixer until thick and fluffy.
  • Add ½ of powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Once combined, add the remaining half and mix until incorporated.
  • Stir in ube extract, more if needed and mix until well combined and smooth.

Baking Tips
  • Ensure that both the cream cheese and butter are softened at room temperature.
  • I recommend to use electric mixer for smooth consistency.
  • Slowly incorporate powdered sugar into the cream cheese-butter mixture. This helps achieving a smoother texture.
  • Feel free to add more ube flavor (extract) if needed. Taste as you go to ensure the flavor is balanced.
