Filipino Mango Salad Bowl

This easy and healthy Filipino Mango Salad Bowl is filled with bright flavours and nutrition.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium mango peeled and julienned
  • 1 small cucumber julienned
  • ¼ cup grape tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 small carrot, julienned
  • ½ medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 whole avocado, cut half
  • cilantro, chopped

Salad Dressing

  • ¼ cup cane vinegar (Datu Puti)
  • 3 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl mix fish sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, lemon juice and honey. Whisk together until well blend.
  • In a separate bowl combine mango, tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, lettuce and cilantro. Top with sliced avocado.
  • Drizzle with homemade dressing and toss gently to combine. Add black pepper. Top with avocado. Enjoy!

Notes

You can use any type of mangoes but make sure the mango is firm, not overripe or underripe. 
You can swap cilantro to green onion if you are not a fan.
