Homemade Fishball Sauce is a condiment that is thick, savory with a hint of sweetness and tanginess that adds a burst flavor to a popular street foods like fish balls, squid balls, kikiam and kwek kwek.

- 1½ cup water
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2½ tablespoon flour
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 piece red chili finely chopped
In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, minced garlic, salt and pepper, and flour. Stir to mix the ingredients together.
Place the saucepan over low to medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar and allow the flavors to meld together. About 3-5 minutes. Add in chili and stir.
Remove from the heat and let it cool before transferring to a container or serving bowl.
