Cheesy Baked Tahong (Mussels)

Try these easy and simple recipe of Cheesy Baked Tahong (Mussels) with buttery sauce topped with cheese. A sumptuous appetizer that is delicious and of course budget friendly!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 - 2.5 pounds Mussels 18-20 pieces
  • 6 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 stalks Scallions chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
  • ¾ - 1 cup butter melted
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place melted butter in a mixing bowl. Add scallions, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Mix everything together. 
  • Use a baking pan and arranged the mussels. Pour a spoonful of mixture on top of each mussels for flavour.

  • Add cheddar cheese on top of each mussels. 
  • On a preheated 180 Celsius oven, bake Cheesy Tahong for 15-20 minutes or until cheese has melted.
