Glazed Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pieces banana overripe or ripe
  • cup all purpose flour
  • 2 pieces eggs beaten
  • 10-11 tablespoon granulated sugar white
  • cup butter unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt

Glazed

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients starting with flour, sugar and baking soda.Set it aside.

  • In a separate mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas. Add beaten eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  • Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix everything together until evenly distributed.

  • Grease the loaf pan with oil or place parchment paper over the pan. Pour the banana bread mixture over the pan. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for few minutes. Then remove the banana bread from the pan and let it cool before adding the glaze or frosting. Slice and serve.
  • Step 5: For the glaze. In a medium bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract using electric mixer on low speed.
  • Top the banana bread with icing or frosting generously.
