    Glazed Banana Bread

    Make this moist, delicious and perfectly sweet Glazed Banana Bread for snack or dessert. This is one of the easiest baking recipes you can make at home. The ingredients are very easy to find and I'm sure most of them is available in your kitchen.

    INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR GLAZED BANANA BREAD

    INGREDIENT NOTES

    • Flour: All purpose flour was used for this recipe.
    • Sugar: Use white sugar or brown sugar.
    • Banana: Overripe banana works well with this recipe. You can also use ripe banana, make sure to smashed them well. Do not use underripe banana as it taste differently.
    • Baking Soda and Vanilla Extract: must haves!
    • Milk: almond milk or any neutral milk works well.
    • Butter: Unsalted or salted butter works well for extra buttery flavour.
    • Eggs: beaten eggs.
    • Powdered Sugar: needed for frosting.
    • Salt: pinch of salt to balance the sweetness. No need for salt if you are using salted butter.

    STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

    Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients starting with flour, sugar, baking soda and add a pin of salt. Set it aside.

    Step 2: In a separate mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas. Add beaten eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.

    Step 3: Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix everything together until evenly distributed.

    Step 4: Grease the loaf pan with oil or place parchment paper over the pan. Pour the banana bread mixture over the pan. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.

    Step 5: For the glaze. In a medium bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract using electric mixer on low speed. Top the banana bread with icing or frosting generously.

    Ingredients
      

    • 3 pieces banana overripe or ripe
    • 1½ cup all purpose flour
    • 2 pieces eggs beaten
    • 10-11 tablespoon granulated sugar white
    • â…“ cup butter unsalted
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • ½ teaspoon baking soda
    • pinch of salt

    Glazed

    • 3 cups powdered sugar
    • 3 tablespoon milk
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients starting with flour, sugar and baking soda.Set it aside.

    • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for few minutes. Then remove the banana bread from the pan and let it cool before adding the glaze or frosting. Slice and serve.
    • Step 5: For the glaze. In a medium bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract using electric mixer on low speed.
    • Top the banana bread with icing or frosting generously.
