- flour: all purpose flour.
- breadcrumbs: I used the 4C Japanese style panko seasoned. Plain breadcrumbs will work fine.
- green onions: about ⅓ cup of scallions was added for this recipe.
- onion: white or red onion works fine.
- oyster sauce: vegetarian oyster sauce if you are vegan.
- onion powder, salt and pepper for seasonings.
Step-by-step Instructions
Combine sweet corn, green onions and onions in a bowl.
Add in flour, baking powder, breadcrumbs, eggs, oyster sauce, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Stir in mozzarella cheese. Scoop about ¼ cup of mixture and use your palm to form a patty. Air Fry at 360 for 8-10 minutes.

Air Fryer Corn Fritters

Ingredients
- 1 (341ml) can corn kernel drained
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- ⅓ cup green onions finely chopped
- ¼ cup onion finely chopped
- ⅓ cup mozarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- sriracha mayo dipping sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine corn, green onions and onion.
- Add in flour, baking powder, breadcrumbs, eggs, oyster sauce, onion powder, salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Add mozzarella cheese and mix until evenly distributed.
- Scoop about ¼ cup of the corn batter, spreading it lightly into your hand and form a circular shape. Arrange patty on the air fryer and spray some cooking oil. Air fry at 360 for 8-10 minutes. Cook them in batches.
- Sprinkle with some cilantro and dip with sriracha mayo. Enjoy!
Notes
- fresh or frozen (thawed) corn kernels will work in this recipe. Make sure to drain excess liquid for frozen corn.
- feel free to add chili flakes in the mixture if you want spicy.
- you can pan fry or deep fry them if you don't have Air Fryer.
