You will love these juicy Baked Sweet Chili Chicken Drumsticks for dinner. They are easy to prepare and of course better than take out.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED
- chicken drumsticks
- sweet chilli sauce
- onion powder
- oyster sauce
- soy sauce
- fish sauce
- parsley and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
INGREDIENT NOTES
- chicken: chicken drumsticks or legs.
- sweet chili sauce: Arroy-d brand is used for this recipe. Feel free to use other sweet chilli sauce brand.
- garlic: we need 3 fresh minced garlic cloves, to give the garlic flavour.
- soy sauce: low sodium, light or regular soy sauce.
- oyster sauce: umami flavour.
- onion powder: to add extra flavour of the dish.
- parsley or cilantro: or use any herb of your choice for garnish. You can also use scallions. Don't have any? No problem, just skip it.
- sesame seeds: garnish.
- salt and pepper to taste.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTION
Step 1: Use a paper towel to pat dry the chicken drumsticks. This will help the seasonings absorb and stick to the meat.
Step 2: In a bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, onion powder, garlic, fish sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Add drumsticks and marinade for 2-3 hours or overnight.
Step 3: Arrange drumsticks on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven 375 F for 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
Storing
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To reheat in the oven, preheat oven 325F. Place chicken on the centre of aluminum foil and pull the sides up to completely wrap the chicken in the foil. Bake for 5 minutes or until heated through.
To reheat using microwave, place chicken into a microwave safe dish and microwave for 2-3 minutes.

Baked Sweet Chili Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients
- 10 pieces drumsticks
- ⅓ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ teaspoon fish sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- parsley garnish
- white sesame seeds garnish
Instructions
- Pat dry chicken using paper towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic, fish sauce, salt and pepper.
- Add in drumsticks and toss to coat. Marinate chicken for 2-3 hours or overnight.
- Arrange the chicken on a baking tray and bake on a preheated 375 F oven for 20-30 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with parsley and sesame seeds.
- Serve and Enjoy!
