Ingredients Needed for Steamed Leche Flan

Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1. In a saucepan add sugar and dissolve in a low heat until brown. Transfer to small bowls and let it cool.
Step 2. In a large bowl, combine egg yolks, condensed milk and evaporated milk. Whisk until smooth. Strain egg mixture and pour into individual bowls.
Step 3. Fill steamer with 4-5 cups of water. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Step 4. Remove from the steamer, allow to cool and refrigerate to chill and completely chill. Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy!

Steamed Leche Flan
Ingredients
- 12 pieces egg yolks
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- ¾ cup white sugar for caramel
Instructions
- In a saucepan add sugar and dissolve in a low heat. Let it simmer until it turns to golden syrup.
- Immediately pour syrup onto individual baking dish. Let it cool.
- In a medium bowl whisk egg yolks, milk and condensed milk. Mix well until smooth.
- Strain egg mixture and pour into individual bowls.
- Fill steamer with 4-5 cups of water. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from the steamer, allow to cool and refrigerate to chill.
- Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy!
