This amazing Beef Giniling is a classic Filipino dish and a hearty soul food. Giniling is actually a Tagalog word for ground meat.

This is one of my favorite foods ever. Tossed noodles and unique flavors make this dish a filling meal. Keep in mind this dish is usually includes meat, like sliced pork or chicken.
However, this version of mine is a vegetarian style, so I subbed tofu for the meat for a healthier version. You can always include the meat if you want to.
8. Tortang Talong
This dish is one of my favourite filipino food because it's super simple to make and a perfect pair with rice. My Lola (grandmother) taught me how to make this tasty dish. It's simple, budget friendly, and totally delicious.
9. Chicken Macaroni Salad
In the Philippines, this is a must have dish for our Christmas time feasts and parties. I really like the customization of this dish too, so feel free to add your own ingredients the next time you make it. It is packed with flavour, creamy and topped with cheese to make it extra special.
10. Ginisang Sayote
Sayote or Chayote is a squash that has light green skin on the outside. While technically a edible vegetable, this member of the gourd family is usually cooked similarly to squash, retaining a familiar texture. It is also an excellent source of vitamin C and antioxidants.
